1 lb. extra lean ground beef
1 pckg. Birdseye frozen Spinach
1 box Barilla 13.25 oz. Whole Grain Rotini
1 15oz. pckg. Part Skim Ricotta
3 cups Kraft 2% Mozzarella


How Do I Make Italian Rotini Bake?

Here is how you make Italian Rotini Bake:

Dice garlic and onion, saute over med. heat in tbsp Olive Oil while dicing tomatoes. Add fresh tomatoes and simmer, stirring frequently. Add spices to taste here, allow for flavors to build. Simmer while - Browning ground beef and drain.. Drain Frozen Spinach. Then Add canned paste, sauce and tomatoes to simmering sauce. Combine and simmer. Boil water for pasta. Add spinach and ground beef to sauce, continue to simmer while cooking and draining pasta, make sure to only cook the pasta to just al dente. Add Ricotta cheese to drained pasta, stir. Add diced zucchini and squash to sauce and stir lightly. Lightly cover 13x9 pan with 1/3 sauce mixture. Layer with pasta mixture, layer with rest of sauce mixture. Add mozzarella cheese.
