Chop onions, celery and carrots to about the same size each.2. Put a Dutch or French oven on medium heat with olive oil inside.3. Add veggies to oil and cook about 10 minutes.4. Cut beef into stew-sized pieces. Put meat and flour into pot and stir.5. Add tomatoes, bay leaves, and beer. Stir.6. Bring to boil.
