1. Dice the onion and bell pepper, mince the garlic and chop the mushrooms 2. Brown meat over medium-high heat, and then use a slotted spoon to transfer it to a plate3. Heat the olive oil in the pan. When it shimmers, stir in the diced onion and red bell pepper. Cook for approximately 5-6 minutes until the onions have picked up some color and the peppers have softened.4. Add the minced garlic and cook for a minute.5. Add the chopped mushrooms and cook for another 5 minutes or so until they release their moisture and begin to brown.6.
