1. Brown the ground beef.2. Prepare brown basmati rice per instructions.3. Prepare (if making from scratch) or heat (if jarred) the marinara sauce.4. Clean and core green bell pepper.5. In small bowl, mix 0.75 cup rice and 0.5 cup ground beef, then stuff inside cavity of green bell pepper.6. Pour 2/3 cup marinara sauce in bottom of small sauce pan with a lid (so bottom of pepper does not burn).7. Carefully place pepper inside to rest on sauce and so sides do not touch side of pan.8. Pour remaining 2/3 cup marinara over top, carefully so as not to dislodge any of the rice or beef but so it coats the side of the pepper. (It will run off in a minute or so, but that is fine.)9.
