2 15 oz. cans Del Monte mixed vegetables, drained
1/4 C. LaChoy Lite Soy Sauce
1 C. water (separated) - only use about 1/4 C. if liquid from canned vegetables isn't drained.
1/4 C. cornstarch

Here is how you make Ground Beef and Mixed Vegetable Casserold:

Brown ground meat in skillet; drain off grease. Wipe residual grease out of skillet. Put ground meat back in skillet and add canned mixed vegetables. Note, if vegetables are not reduced sodium, or no-salt added, drain off liquid and use water (about 3/4 C.); add in with meat and vegetables. Mix cornstarch, soy sauce, and water (about 1/4 C.) and use whisk to mix together. Add to vegetables, meat, and liquid in skillet. Add a little bit at a time and stir mixture to mix well. Bring to a boil and let thicken being careful not to let mixture stick in skillet. When thickened, pour mixture into a casserole dish. Top with tater tots or biscuits (made from scratch or raw ones from tube). Cook at 425-450 F. until nicely browned on top. Inside will already be cooked.
