1- 12 oz pkgs spinach pasta - fettucine preferred
1 lb ground beef
1/4 C. chopped onion
1 C fresh mushroom slices
1 can Cream of Mushroom soup
2 oz sherry
1/2 C. sour cream
Parmesan cheese, grated


How Do I Make Green Noodle casserole?

Here is how you make Green Noodle casserole:

Put water on to boil for noodles. Use as lean a beef as you can. Cook, crumbling meat into small bits. Remove from pan and saute onion and mushrooms. Add meat back in and stir in soup, sherry and cooked noodles. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream. Makes approximately 8 - 1 C. servings. After plating, sprinkle with 1 T. grated parmesan.I have used canned mushrooms and different "lite" or "healthy" soups. If these are an issue you could also make a small amount of your own white sauce.
