Here is how you make Patty's Enchilada Stack:

Brown beef and onion. Drain grease and return to skillet. Add soup, 4 oz green chilies, taco seasoning, 3/4 cups of water. Simmer for 15 minutes or more.In a small casserole dish began layering ingredients in this order:Meat Mixture, grated cheese, tear up flour tortillias and lay a layer. Repeat. At this point you can put the casserole in the refrigerator to complete the next day, or in the freezer for another day.CHEESE SAUCE FOR TOPPING:In large saucepan melt butter, add flour and stir till blended and thickened. Gradually add milk and stir continuously. This will make a gravy. Once gravy is complete, add cheese and green chilies, continue to stir and heat until good thickness. THIS WILL BURN ON BOTTOM, so be careful by stirring continously.Pour cheese mixture over enchilada stack, sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake at 350? for about 30 minutes until bubbly (if casserole has been in refrigerator over night then cook for about 1 hour).Serving Size:?12
