A few hours before:Make the marinade by combining the juice from 1/2 lemon with twice as much extra virgin olive oil. There should be 2 parts oil to 1 part juice. Chop garlic, parsley, and chili pepper together very finely. Add to the marinade. Prick flank steak all over with a fork and place it in a gallon size ziploc type bag. Add the marinade, seal, and knead the marinade in for a minute or two. Allow to rest in the refrigerator for a few hours.Just before dinner:Prepare a very hot grill.
