This is an Emeril Lagasse recipe. I used ribeye steak and round steak the two times I made it. Husand and son LOVED it! It was a bit too spicy for myself. I omitted the red and green bell peppers, but they would be added with the onion if used. Can serve with egg noodles or over rice.

1 1/2 Emeril's Essence
3 Tbsp veg oil
4 Tbsp all purpose flour
2 Tbsp chopped onions (or more as desired)
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cayenne
1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper
4 Tbsp corn starch
8 oz Healthy Harvest whole wheat egg noodles

Combine meat the Essence seasoning and flour. Heat oil in skillet and brown meat on all sides. Add 2 cups of beef broth and stir to loosen browned particles. Add onions (and peppers if using), and salt, cayenne and black pepper. Cook stirring frequently for 6 to 8 minutes. Reduce heat to medium, cover and cook stirring occasionally for 15 minutes. Add remaining beef broth and continue to cook uncovered, for about an hour. Until the meat is very tender and the gravy is flavorful. While meat is finishing, prepare noodles (or rice if perferred). Mix noodles into gravy and beef mixture at the end of the beef cook time.
