1 cup light whipping cream
Italian Seasoning, Basil, Red Pepper Flakes, to taste

Here is how you make Spicy Sausage Soup (w/ cream):

Saute onions, garlic, and mushrooms in cast iron dutch oven. Add sausage and cook until brown and broken up into small pieces. Add pepper flakes and seasonings, then tomatoes with juice, rice, and the vegetable and chicken broths (mix/match qty to taste). Cover and simmer 25 minutes. Remove lid and add cream and swiss chard.
