Here is how you make Barley Stuffed Green Peppers:

Cook barley according to package instructions. Brown groud beef 10 min. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to beef and cook 10 min more. Add all seasonings and 1 cup Prego sauce. Simmer 15 min. Wash and split peppers lenghtwise. Clean out seeds and membranes. Place open side up in 9x13 baling pan. Add cooked barley to ground beef mixture. Divide between the eight pepper halves. Top with remaining sauce. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
