1-12 oz. can frozen unsweetened apple juice concentrate
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup honey
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup buttermilk
2 cups chopped dried apples
2/3 cup raisins

Here is how you make L.R. apple granola:

In a large bowl, combine oats, bran, rice, coconut, walnuts, cinnamon and cloves. In another microwave safe bowl, combine juice, oil, honey almond extract and salt. Microwave for about 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally until reduced and bubbly. Stir into dry mixture until combined. Add buttermilk and mix well. Divide into 2- 9"x13" baking pan that have been sprayed with nonstick spray. Bake at 275 for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until browned, stirring about every 20 minutes or so. Transfer to a large bowl.
