2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Kosher Salt
2 cup Unbleached White Whole Wheat Flour
1/2 cup Granulated Sugar

Here is how you make Apple Lowfat Reg Size Scones By Tamera:

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Place parchment paper on large baking sheet. Take two small apples or one large apple, peel and core, then shred it into a medium bowl. Add buttermilk, cinnamon, nutmeg and mashed banana. Mix well and set aside. In medium bowl add sugar, flours, baking powder, soda and salt. Stir then add cut up chilled butter. Smash butter with your fingertips into the flour mixture until small pieces are incorporated. Try not to overwork and melt the butter with your hands. Add the wet mixture to the dry mixture. Mix well just until all of it it well incorporated. )Do not over mix and do not use a mixer! Drop with 1/2 cup ice cream scoop onto baking tray so there is space in-between and room to rise. Bake 425 degrees for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and completely done cooking in the middle.
