How Do I Make Blackberry Jam?

Here is how you make Blackberry Jam:

Add berries to non-reactive pot 1 cup at a time. Smash each cup of berries. Add box of pectin and lemon juice. Bring to a boil, stirring. Once it reaches a rolling boil, add butter to help reduce foaming. Bring to a rolling boil and cook for 4 minutes, stirring continuously. Once 4 minutes are up, remove pot from heat and ladle into pint canning jars that have been sterilized. Cover with sterilized lid and ring. Let set for at least 24 hours.
