?2 tbsp butter
?1/2 cup milk
?1 envelope dry yeast
?3/4 cup pumpkin puree
?1/4 cup brown sugar
1tsp pumpkin pie spice
?1 tsp salt
?2 1/2 cup bread flour
For brushing:

?2 tsp cinnamon
?1/2 tsp nutmeg
?2 tbsp butter
For glaze:
?2 tsp butter
?1/8 cup brown sugar
?1 1/2 tbsp milk
?3/4 cup powdererd sugar
?1 tbsp rum


How Do I Make Pull-Apart Pumpkin Bread?

Here is how you make Pull-Apart Pumpkin Bread:

Melt butter and heat for a couple of minutes till brown. Take off heat and add warm milk. Return to stove and heat. Set aside to cool.Once warm add yeast and sugar. Set aside for 8 minutes.Then add pumpkin, spice, salt , 1 cup flour and stir to combine. Add the rest of the flour and knead the dough for 6 minutes. It should be elastic and a bit sticky. If the dough is too moist add flour 1 tbsp at a time and knead till desirable consistency.Transfer the dough to an oiled bowl and move to a warm place with no draft ( usually I put to an oven preheated to 50C) for 60-90 minutes. The dough should double in size.Melt and brown another 2 tbsp butter.Knead dough for 1-2 minutes. Pull it out into rectangle. Brush it with brown butter and sprinkle with sugar and spice. Cut the rectangle into 6 strips. Lay them on top of each other and cut into 6 pieces. So in the end you have 6 6-layered squares.Set the dough vertically into the buttered loaf pan. Cover with a towel and let it rise for 30-40 minutes more.Preheat oven to 175C/350F and bake the bread for 30-40 minutes until golden brown. Let cool before glazing.For the glaze in a saucepan combine butter, sugar and milk. Bring to boil. Take off heat and stir in powdered sugar and rum.
