Here is how you make Almond Rhubarb Coffee Cake:

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour two round layer pans - 9 x 1-1/2 OR 2 x 8 x 8 OR 9 x 9 x 2. Mix brown sugar, oil, egg and vanilla. Stir in flour, milk, salt and baking soda; beat until smooth. Stir in rhubarb and 1/2 cup almonds. Pour in pans. Bake 9" layers 40 minutes. 8 " layers 45 minutes. Mix topping ingredients together. Sprinkle on top after baking 5 or 10 minutes so almonds don't all sink to the bottom. Serve warm.
