I recently bought my first waffle iron and have been experimenting with different types of waffles. These our the favorite in our home, so far. What Are The Ingredients For Ham and Cheese Waffles Recipe?The ingredients for Ham and Cheese Waffles are: 1 cup, Whole Wheat Flour1 cup, Yellow Cornmeal 2 1/2 tsp, Baking Powder 1/2 tsp, Salt 2 tsp, Sugar 2 eggs 1 1/4 cup, 1% Milk 3 Tbs, Vegetable Oil 5-6 slices, Smoked Deli Ham, chopped 1/2 cup, Cheddar Cheese, shredded How Do I Make Ham and Cheese Waffles?Here is how you make Ham and Cheese Waffles: 1. Preheat Waffle Iron2. In large bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, baking powder, salt & sugar. Whisk to combine thoroughly.3. Add in eggs, oil & 1 cup of the milk. Mix until well blended, adding additional milk as needed to get a pourable consistency.4. Pour about 1/2 cup of batter onto waffle iron. Sprinkle with chopped ham and shredded cheese. Close iron and cook until browned. Time will vary depending on your waffle iron. 5. Remove from iron & allow to cool. Repeat with remaining batter. Makes approx. 6 whole waffles. Tip: If your waffle iron creates easy to cut sections in the waffles you can cut the sections before freezing. It makes it easier to take a couple sections out of the freezer and pop them into a toaster or toaster oven for an on the go breakfast. Mine makes 4 sections per waffle. That is about 84 calories per section.
