1/2 cup of ground flax seed
1/2 cup (or 1 stick) butter
1/2 cup honey
1/3 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1 large egg


How Do I Make Cranberry Chocolate Chip Granola Bars?

Here is how you make Cranberry Chocolate Chip Granola Bars:

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees and lightly grease a 9X13 glass pan. In a large bowl combine oats and flax seed. Set aside. In a small microwavable safe bowl place butter and honey. Place the butter and honey in the microwave and heat for about 45 seconds or until butter is completely melted. Then stir the butter and honey until it is combined together completely. Pour the butter and honey mixture into the oat mixture and stir until combined. Add egg and stir once more until the egg is fully incorporated. Lastly mix in chocolate chips and dried cranberries. Pour into your lightly greased pan and press the granola into the pan until it is even and packed tightly down. It may help to wet your fingers with a little water to keep the granola mixture from sticking to your hands. Now place in your preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown around the edges.
