1/2 cup unsweetened Almond Breeze (can use milk)
1/2 cup egg substitute like Egg Beaters (can use 2 eggs)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 cup brown sugar Splenda Blend (can use 1/2 cup of sugar)
1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (I used .5 c semi-sweet morsels, not the mini, and that is what I factored into the nutritional facts)

In a large bowl, mix together flours, baking powder, soda and cocoa. In a separate bowl, mix almond milk, applesauce, egg substitute, vanilla, and brown sugar Splenda blend. Stir wet ingredients into dry. Add chocolate chips and stir just until moist. Coat muffin tin or a loaf pan with cooking spray, such as Pam. Bake at 350 for 12 minutes or until center springs back when you touch your finger to it. (for me it took about 17 min to set).Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Makes 12 muffins or 12 slices of bread.
