How Do I Make Mary's Yummy Light Cinnamon Rolls?

Here is how you make Mary's Yummy Light Cinnamon Rolls:

You can use any ready to use bread dough. The one I used is a Kroger Brand from Fry's. It calls for an overnight thaw in the fridge or you can do it the fast method by putting it in a slightly warm oven for about 4 hours. You will follow the package directions for your dough(or make your own).Once the dough has thawed and risen to 1" above the loaf pan remove it to a floured surface and roll it our to about an 11" X 18" rectangle. Spread the softened Smart Balance Light Spread over the dough. Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle it over the butter and then starting at one end start to roll up the dough into a log. I trimmed off the very ends(optional). Then I cut the log in half and then the two logs in half again. Continuing until I had 16 pieces. I sprayed the bottom of a 9x13 pan with Pam and then put the cinnamon rolls into the pan leaving room for them to rise again. I let them sit out covered for 45 min to rise and then baked them in a 350 deg oven for 20 minutes. My oven runs a little hot so you may have to adjust your oven temp accordingly. While the rolls where baking I made the icing with the powdered sugar, vanilla and milk. When I removed the pan from the oven I put the icing on the rolls using a fork and letting it drizzle onto the warm rolls. I then tented the pan lightly with foil. I had read that that can keep your rolls soft. I don't know if it made a difference but my rolls were soft. It is a great recipe but hard to stop at one. Enjoy and share them that way you can't eat to many!!Number of Servings: 16Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user MNM20107.
