I was craving a scone to have with my coffee this morning. And rather than running down to work (I work at Panera), and wasting 550 calories, I decided to make one that was a tad bit more healthy. I like my scones on the moist side, so I searched for a moist scone recipe. I found one that called for whole milk, sour cream, and 8 tons of butter ... So I altered it a bit. and YUM! Let simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add milk. Stir. Let stand 10 minutes. Drizzle on scones after they come out of the oven.
