Here is how you make fruit and nut scones:

Preheat over to 400 degrees.Prepare baking sheet by spraying lightly with vegetable oil. In a medium bowl, whisk together yogurt, buttermilk, vanilla and orange zest. In a large bowl, combine flour, wheat germ, sugar, splenda, baking powder, baking soda, salt, ginger and cardamom. Or combine in bowl of food processor. Cut in the margarine until the mixture resembles coarse meal. Fold the yogurt mix, fruit and nuts into the processor and combine. Remove dough from processor onto a floured board. Knead lightly just until dough can be shaped into an 8-10 inch round. Place on baking sheet. Brush round with buttermilk and sprinkle with brown sugar. Cut round into 10 wedges.
