I made this to cut some granola that was WAY too sweet. Even with almost no sugar added, my son liked it just the way it was. Grains and seeds taste good without having to be all covered up!

1/4 cup sesame seeds
1/4 cup instant non-fat dry milk
1/4 cup wheat germ
1/4 cup wheat bran
1/4 cup oat bran
2 Tbsp ground flax
1/2 cup almonds - ground, chopped, sliced or slivered.
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 cup hot water or apple juice

makes 10 1/2 cup servingsPreheat oven to 250* Oil 2 cookie sheets or broiler pans. Low edges work lots better than higher edges as in 9x13 pans. Combine all the ingredients except the water. Mix well. Add the water and mix until everything is moistened. Spread mix out on the 2 cookie sheets, breaking up clumps. Put in oven, bake at least an hour, stirring every 15 min. When the clumps are dry and crunchy, leave in the oven an extra 15 min with the heat turned off.
