What Are The Ingredients For No Oil Granola Recipe?The ingredients for No Oil Granola are: Base:8 C rolled oats 1/2 C pecans, coarsely chopped 1/2 C walnuts, coarsely chopped 1/2 C raw sunflower seeds 1/2 C raw almonds, coarsely chopped 1/2 C flax seed, ground Binding: 1 1/2 C brown sugar, packed 1/2 C water 4 t vanilla extract 1 t salt 1/2 t ground nutmeg 1 T cinnamon 1 T ground ginger How Do I Make No Oil Granola?Here is how you make No Oil Granola: Preheat the oven to 275 F.Place oats, seeds, nuts and flax in a large bowl.Line 2 cookie sheets with silpat or parchment paper.Add water and sugar in a 4 cup microwave cup. Microwave on full power for 5 minutes, until sugar is completely dissolved.Into the sugar mix add the salt, vanilla and spices. Stir thoroughly.Pour sugar mixture over the oat and nut mixture.Blend very well. This will take a few minutes - you want all the dry mix to be sticky and completely incorporated with the sugar mixture. I use a stiff spatula and a pastry blender to get this done.Divide mixture between the two cookie sheets.
