What Are The Ingredients For Patty's Granola Recipe?The ingredients for Patty's Granola are: 4 c oats (old fashioned, not quick cook)½ c oat bran ¾ c whole flax seed ¾ c raw, shelled and unsalted pumpkin seeds ¾ c slivered almonds 1 c puffed rice ¼ c brown sugar (we like unprocessed) 1 tsp salt raisins dried cranberries dried blueberries dried apples How Do I Make Patty's Granola?Here is how you make Patty's Granola: Mix in large bowl:4 c oats (old fashioned, not quick cook)½ c oat bran¾ c whole flax seed¾ c raw, shelled and unsalted pumpkin seeds¾ c slivered almonds1 c puffed rice¼ c brown sugar (we like unprocessed)1 tsp saltHeat in saucepan and drizzle into dry mix:3/8 c maple syrup3/8 c honey1 tbsp cinnamon3 tbsp grape seed oilPour into a 9”x13” cake pan and bake at 275 degrees for 30 minutes. Stir in from small bowl: (any combination / any amount)raisinsdried cranberriesdried cherriesdried blueberriesdried pineappledried currentsdried peachesdried applesapricotsetc. (try to get unsweetened dried fruit – Trader Joe’s is a good source for most of the ingredients)Press mix down slightly and continue baking for another 30 minutes. Turn oven off but leave pan in for at least a few hours or overnight if possible.
