Here is how you make Puffed Pancake:

Heat oven to 450 degrees. Place large pie pan (I use glass) with sliced butter in preheated oven until hot and bubbly (watch that it doesn't burn). Whisk eggs in a large bowl - add milk and vanilla and whisk some more - sprinkle flour over top and whisk even more (your morning workout!). Put mixture into hot buttered pie pan and bake 20 minutes, at which time your pancake will be really puffed up and golden to deep brown - do not be tempted to remove from oven sooner!
