What Are The Ingredients For Ultimate Quiche Recipe? The ingredients for Ultimate Quiche are: 6 frozen 9-inch deep-dish pie crusts1 lb bacon 2 lb italian sausage 1 large onion, diced 24 oz fresh mushrooms, diced 4 10 oz boxes of frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry 16 oz shredded cheddar cheese, divided 6 oz shredded swiss cheese 16 oz sour cream 4 cups half and half 18 eggs salt and pepper to taste How Do I Make Ultimate Quiche? Here is how you make Ultimate Quiche: Prebake pie crusts according to package instructions. Set aside.Preheat oven to 375 degrees.Cook the bacon, drain, crumble, set aside. Cook the sausage, drain, set aside. Reserve some of the bacon or sausage drippings to cook the onions and mushrooms in. Cook the onions and mushrooms until soft and then drain them well.In a large bowl, combine bacon, sausage, onion, mushrooms, spinach, 8 oz of the cheddar, all of the swiss and the sour cream. Mix to combine. In another bowl, whisk the eggs and half and half and salt and pepper together. Pour egg mixture over other ingredients and mix to combine. Ladle mixture into prebaked pie crusts, distributing equally. Sprinkle remaining cheddar on top. Bake for 40 minutes or until set.***As you can see, this makes a lot of quiche, but they freeze beautifully. I make so many at once because I like to freeze them. Also, the 24 servings are for four slices of quiche per pie, which is a slice large enough to be your whole meal. If you get six slices per pie, the calories are closer to 370 a slice. Finally, these also do quite well with egg substitute, fat-free half and half and light sour cream.Number of Servings: 30Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user ALECTOFURY.What's The Nutritional Info For Ultimate Quiche? The nutritional information for Ultimate Quiche is:
