This wonderful dish is one of my favs for breakfast. I was amazed to find Turkey Breakfast sausage to be as yummy as Jimmy Dean's Natural Traditional!!!You can whip this up in no time and stash it in the fridge for later. 1/4 package Jenni-O Breakfast sausage - if using sausage patties, 2 patties chopped up before cooking
1/2 cup diced Bell Peppers - green, yellow, red.... cook's choice
1/2 cup diced Mushrooms
1/2 cup diced Onion - raw
1/2 cup uncooked Jasmine Rice
1/2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper if needed

Here is how you make T's TASTY Breakfast sausage and rice:

Cook off Jasmine rice and set aside - use instructions on package.Chop or dice all veggies to approximately same size. I personally like larger pieces. Break the sausage up into smaller nickel-sized pieces. If you are using sausage patties, chop up the patties.Brown the sausage on one side of a pan or wok. Half way through cooking the sausage, add olive oil to the empty side of the pan. Add veggies to side of the pan that has olive oil and sautee lightly.Mix up veggies and sausage in pan and finish cooking together until sausage is fully cooked.Place the rice in a bowl or on a plate.
