1. place pan with water and vinegar on stove and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and bring to a simmer.2. crack eggs into a condiment dish or small bowl (1 per bowl). When water comes to a simmer carefully place egg in the water, don't drop/plop it in, roll it into the water.
