What Are The Ingredients For George's Tortilla (taken from Grandma) Recipe?The ingredients for George's Tortilla (taken from Grandma) are: 10 eggs, beaten1 medium onion, chopped 1/2 lb ham, diced 8 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced salt pepper 1 tsp garlic powder Olive oil How Do I Make George's Tortilla (taken from Grandma)?Here is how you make George's Tortilla (taken from Grandma): Peel and slice potatoes and dry them in paper towels. Beat eggs with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Dice ham. Heat 1/2 C olive oil in a large skillet. Oil must be very hot but not burning. Drop a slice of potato in and if it sizzles and bubbles, oil is ready. Add all potatoes and fry until crispy. remove from pan and place on peper towels. Remove most of oil and sautee onions and ham. Add potatoes back into pan with ham and onions and flatten over bottom of pan. Pour beaten eggs over mixture. Turn heat downto medium. Cook 3 to 4 minutes. Loosen sides of mixture so it will slide easily out of pan. Carefully flip mixture onto a plate and slide back into pan so other side cooks. Cook another 3 to 5 minutes.
