1 Roma tomato, diced
1/2 c green bell pepper, diced
1/2 c onion, diced
3 oz Hillshire Farm Turkey Smoked Sausage, diced
0.5 tsp Taco Seasoning
0.5 tsp crushed red pepper
0.5 tsp cilantro
1 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded


How Do I Make Southwest Turkey Sausage Omelet?

Here is how you make Southwest Turkey Sausage Omelet:

- Dice veggies and turkey sausage, setting tomatoes aside. - Cook onions, peppers, and sausage in pan with non-stick cook spray on medium heat until veggies are tender. - Meanwhile, in a separate bowl, take 4 eggs and separate out whites from 3 eggs, using yolks AND whites from the 4th egg. Stir until well blended. - Preheat broiler in oven.- Remove tender veggies and sausage from pan and coat pan again with non stick cook spray and return to burner.- Add egg mixture to pan.- Sprinkle 1/2 of veggie/sausage mix onto eggs.- Cook until bottom of omelet is set and remove pan from stovetop, placing under broiler until top is also set.- Sprinkle cilantro onto tomatoes and add to top of omelet. - Sprinkle with 1/2 of the cheese.- Fold omelet in center and serve!- Repeat steps for second omelet.Number of Servings: 2Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user MIZ_SNOOPY.
