Here is how you make Whole Wheat Waffles w/ Flax and Blueberries:

In a small bowl combine milk and lemon juice (or just use lowfat buttermilk, no juice) set aside.Preheat Waffle iron, grease w/ spray.In a medium bowl whisk together flour, soda, baking powder, salt and sugar. Add eggs, applesauce, and oil to Milk Mixture. Combine dry ingredients and liquid ingredients together, let rest 5 min.Fold in blueberries and flax seed. Ladle onto hot waffle iron and bake to desired crispness (I prefer these ones a little more well done).
