1/3 cup oats
2/3 cup water
1 tbsp ground flax seed
1 tbsp apple pectin powder (optional)
4-5 strawberries, sliced
1 small or 1/2 large banana, sliced
Stevia, salt, cinnamon


How Do I Make Soaked yogurt-oats?

Here is how you make Soaked yogurt-oats:

The night before, add 1 tbsp yogurt, 1/3 cup oats, and 1/3 cup water to small glass jar. Place lid on and let sit on counter overnight. In the morning, bring other 1/3 cup water to boil with dash of salt. Once boiling add yogurt/oats from jar and a liberal amount of ground cinnamon (if desired). Let simmer about 5 minutes. Transfer to bowl and let cool in fridge. While oats are cooking, grind flax seed and add it, apple pectin, and vanilla flavored stevia to remaining yogurt. Stir and place in fridge to thicken. While it does and oats are cooling, you can go about your morning routine.After 15-20 minutes (or however long it takes you to get ready), stir oats into yogurt, add sliced fruit on top.
