Cream together: shortening or lard and sugars. Sift together flours, salt, baking powder and baking soda.Add alternately with 1 cup mashed banana and water. Mix until smooth. Pour into 8x4x3 inch pan, greased and lightly floured. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes. Cool on wire rack 10 to 15 minutes before removing from pan.
