In a mixing bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder and 1/4 tsp salt. Make a well in the center . Combine beaten egg, milk , applesauce, banana and nuts then add all at once to flour mixture. Stir just till moistened. Lightly grease muffin cups and fill 2/3 full. Bake in a 400 degree oven for about 20 minutes or until golden.
