What Are The Ingredients For HOME MADE ONION BAGELS Recipe?The ingredients for HOME MADE ONION BAGELS are: Granulated Sugar, 3 tspYeast, dry active, 2 tsp CLUB SODA, 0.5 cup Water, tap, .5 cup (8 fl oz) Onions, raw, 1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Organic All-Purpose White Flour, 2.5 cup Cream Cheese, 8 oz Emeril's Original Essence Seasoning (1/4 tsp), 24 gram(s) How Do I Make HOME MADE ONION BAGELS?Here is how you make HOME MADE ONION BAGELS: IN LARGE METAL BOWL ADD SUGAR,CLUB SODA-(IF IN FRIDGE),& REALLY HOT TAP WATER THAT'S 110 DEGREES.THEN MIX IN W/A WHISK THE YEAST.LET SIT FOR 5 MINUTES IT SHOULD BE FOAMY,ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU STIR WITH A WHISK.THEN ADD FINELY CHOPPED ONION.NOW SLOWLY ADD 1/3CUP AT A TIME THE FLOUR.I USED 2 CUPS & THEN SLOWLY KNEADED IN A LITTLE AT A TIME TO WHERE IT WAS NO LONGER STICKY.CLOSE TO ABOUT 1/2CUP.THEN I SPRAYED THE BOWL WITH BUTTER SPRAY PLACED THE DOUGH IN IT & SPRAYED THE TOP OF THE DOUGH TO COAT IT.PLACED A TOWEL ON IT & LET IT REST FOR AN HOUR TO DOUBLE IN SIZE.THEN AFTER AN HOUR I TOOK THE DOUGH & CUT IT IN HALF THEN AGAIN & AGAIN TO GET 6 STRIPS.THEN ROLLED INTO THE SHAPE OF BAGELS.PLACED THESE ON A TIN FOIL LINED SHEET,SPRAYED WITH BUTTER SPRAY.IN A LARGE DUTCH OVEN POT I ADDED WATER ABOUT 6 CUPS & ABOUT 1/2 CUP BAKING SODA.BROUGHT THIS UP TO A BOIL THEN ONE AT A TIME ADDED THE BAGELS WITH A PLASTIC SPIDER SPATULA.TURNING THEM,30 SECONDS ON ONE SIDE THEN 30 SECONDS ON THE OTHER SIDE.PLACED THESE ON A SEPARATE BAKING SHEET LINED WITH TIN FOIL & SPRAYED WITH BUTTER SPRAY.AFTER DOING ALL 6 I THEN COATED THE PREVIOUS TIN FOIL LINED SHEET WITH MORE BUTTER SPRAY & ADDED THE BAGELS TO THAT.THE REASON WHY I HAVE 2 TIN FOIL LINED SHEETS IS SO THAT THE ONE GETS WET WHILE THE OTHER DOESN'T.I DID THIS B4 & THEY STUCK.NEXT SPRAY THE TOPS WITH BUTTER SPRAY & PLACE IN OVEN SET TO 425 DEGREES FOR 20 MINUTES.CHECKING ON THEM TO MAKE SURE THEY AREN'T GETTING BURNED ON THE BOTTOMS.I THEN PLACED THE BROILER ON HIGH TO GET THE TOPS DONE.WATCHING VERY CLOSELY.I NOW PLACED 8 OUNCES OF CREAM CHEESE IN A SMALL MIXING BOWL & ADDED 1-2 TABLESPOONS OF BUTTER MIXED TOGETHER & THEN ADDED EMERILS ORIGINAL SEASONING ESSENCE ABOUT 2-3 TABLESPOONS MIXED WITH MIXER & PLACED IN A SERVING BOWL.SO GOOD WITH THE BAGELS.NEXT TIME I'M GOING TO ADD THIS TO THE DOUGH ITSELF.Serving Size:?MAKES 6 BAGELSWhat's The Nutritional Info For HOME MADE ONION BAGELS?The nutritional information for HOME MADE ONION BAGELS is:
