These were the brownies I grew up with, and I've always liked them best. The top doesn't become as crunchy as with other recipes. I changed the recipe to use 1-1/2 Cups of flour to make the brownies a little less gooey. Also, Baker's Chocolate amount is 4 ounces, not 4 squares - they changed the size of the squares and reduced the total package from 8 to 4 ounces!
