This receipe was given to me in 2004 by a great friend! It's perfect for Atkins or South Beach since it does not have any flour. I love this and it's quick and easy to make and really satisifies a chocolate cravingS What Course Is Chocolate Flax Cake?Chocolate Flax Cake is for Dessert. How Long Does Chocolate Flax Cake Recipe Take To Prepare?Chocolate Flax Cake takes 5 minutes to prepare. How Long Does Chocolate Flax Cake Recipe Take To Cook?Chocolate Flax Cake takes 4 minutes to cook. How Many Servings Does Chocolate Flax Cake Recipe Make?Chocolate Flax Cake makes 1 servings. What Are The Ingredients For Chocolate Flax Cake Recipe? The ingredients for Chocolate Flax Cake are: 2 tablespoons butter2 tablespoons fat free cream cheese 1 egg or 1/4 cup egg beaters 1 tsp baking powder 1 1/2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder (I like a lot of chocolate, you can reduce this amount if you would like to 1 tablespoon) 2-3 packets of Splenda 2 1/2 tablespoons of flaxmeal pinch of salt (necessary for texture - DON'T LEAVE THIS OUT!!!) How Do I Make Chocolate Flax Cake? Here is how you make Chocolate Flax Cake: Soften the cream cheese in the microwave, using a small bowl sized plastic (microwavable) container. Add egg and mix well, then add all other ingredients together and blend.Cook on high in the microwave for 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 minutes...since all microwaves are different, it may take a few tries to find the right timing. If it looks "done" like a regular cake, this it will be overcooked. It should seem undercooked when you take it out. Once it cools, the consistency will be very cake like and the flavor is awesome!Cinnamon can replace the chocolate for flavoring or you can use a flavored sugar free syrup. Or, leave out the sweetner all together and it wil be like a small load of bread that will slice nicely after cooling. This recipe stores well in the freezer.Number of Servings: 1Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user CATZAS.What's The Nutritional Info For Chocolate Flax Cake? The nutritional information for Chocolate Flax Cake is:
