Makes 12 servings.Melt butter and chocolate in microwave on HIGH for 1-1 1/2 minutes, stirring halfway. Mix flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and powder, and salt.Add sour cream, eggs, water, chocolate mixture, and vanilla to dry ingredients in mixing bowl. Beat 30 seconds on low until moistened. Beat 2 minutes on medium.Pour into 3 greased and floured round cake pans.Bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees.Cool completely.Melt chocolate in microwave on HIGH for 1 minute.
