**I have been making these cookies for 20 plus years for my family for the holiday's. When I started my weight wasn't an issue. But now I need a reality check to see how many calories are in these little treats. If anyone is brave enough to play with this recipe to reduce the calories I would love to see a revised version. One thing I know is it doesn't work with light margarine. Since my family (mostly husband) is a cookie freak and insists that I make huge trays of cookies for everyone at Christmas I would never hear the end of it if I didn't make them - so my options are either making a lower calorie version or testing my will power (who can resist hot melting chocolate chips?). What Are The Ingredients For Meatball cookies Recipe? The ingredients for Meatball cookies are: 3 Cups flour1 Cup sugar 3 TBS cocoa powder 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp cinnamon 2 tsp salt 1 tsp nutmeg 1/2 cup margarine (melted) 2 Cups milk (approx) 1/4 Cup walnuts, chopped 1/2 Cup raisins 6 oz Chocolate Chips How Do I Make Meatball cookies? Here is how you make Meatball cookies: Melt margarine and cool. Mix all dry ingredients. Add melted margarine. Add nuts, raisins & chocolate chips. Slowly add milk a little at a time. Recipe calls for 2 cups - but I usually only add 1 1/2 cups. Dough is very sticky. You will be rolling dough into walnut size balls so after adding milk you might need to add a bit more flour to be able to handle dough. I flour my hands and also have flour nearby to continue sprinkling on top of batter. Bake at 350 degree oven for 12-15 minutes. Start with 12 minutes and increase if necessary. Bottom should be brown and top will be dry looking. Makes 7 dozen.** Recipe does not take eggsNumber of Servings: 42Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user QUEENBEA77.What's The Nutritional Info For Meatball cookies? The nutritional information for Meatball cookies is:
