1/2 cup coconut
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup nuts (optional)
1 1/2 cup coconut or rice krispies


How Do I Make Strawberry Skillet Cookies?

Here is how you make Strawberry Skillet Cookies:

In a large skillet, combine sugar and butter. Stir and cook until boiling. Mix egg, 1/2 cup coconut with egg and dates. Add to sugar mixture and stir about 5 minutes and sugar dissolved. Remove from heat. Quickly add in 1 1/2 cup coconut or rice krispies. Let cool about 5 minutes until you can touch it. Shape into balls and depending on taste, roll in red granulated sugar. If you want you can shape like strawberries and use red and green sugar to color them.
