Make sure your cream cheese is VERY soft. In large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth & creamy . Add condensed milk, lemon juice & vanilla, thouroughly blending after each addition. Add sugar if desired (it really doesn't need it) and blend in thouroughly. Pour into crust & refrigerate several hours or overnight if possible.
