How Do I Make JG's Lemon Loaf?

Here is how you make JG's Lemon Loaf:

Combine flour, baking powder, lemon rind and salt in a mixing bowl. Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk to creamed mixture. Blend well after each addition. Spoon batter into loaf pan. Bake at 350 for 50 to 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean. Leave in pan and glaze immediately.To make glaze, heat sugar and lemon juice in a small saucepan until the sugar dissolves. Pierce the top of the loaf with a fork or toothpick.
