Here is how you make Wheatberry Pudding:

Rinse wheatberries thoroughly. Add wheatberries to 3 cups boiling water. Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 1 hour, until tender.Add cooked wheatberries to a blender or food processor with 2 Tbsp milk, and pulse until coarsley chopped. Some will remain whole.Add remaining milk, wheatberries, cinnamon stick and zest to a large pot and cook over medium heat, stiring frequently to avoid sticking, until thick. Remove film as needed.Remove cinnamon stick. Add syrup and vanilla and mix well.
