Here is how you make Raisin Bars:

Cook on stovetop: Raisins & water until all water is absorbed. Turn off heat & add: baking soda, butter & sugar. Let cool.After cooled, add eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, syrup & a pinch of salt. Mix well. Add flour, mix just until all ingredients are blended.Pat into a large cookie sheet with a lip that has been sprayed with cooking spray.Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Brush 'powdered sugar icing' on top of bars with a pastry brush while still warm.Serving Size:?Makes 32 bars
