Hearty Deli Brown Mustard, 2 tsp

Onions, raw, 1/2 cup, chopped
Ginger, ground, 1 tbsp
Cumin seed, ground, 2 tsps
Apple juice, unsweetened, 6 fl oz
Olive Oil, 1 1tsp
Worchestershire Sauce, 1 tsp


How Do I Make Apple Mustard Pork Chops?

Here is how you make Apple Mustard Pork Chops:

Set out two thin cuts of pork loin, 3 oz each, to reach room temperature.Into a thick bottomed pan, pour your little bit of olive oil and heat it up over a medium heat.Chop a 1/2 cup onion finely and add to the heated olive oil.Smear the pork with 1tsp of the mustard for each piece.Move the onions to the sides of the pan and place the pork in the pan.Sear both sides of the pork, the mustard will mostly fall off, but that is what you want.Stir in the Apple juice and scrape up the browned pieces from the bottom of the pan.Add the Worchester Sauce, the ginger, cumin, salt and pepper and stir to combine.Turm the heat down to a low medium and put the lid on the pot.Check on it after 30 minutes or so and spoon some of the sauce over the meat.In another 15 minutes, remove the pan and bring the heat up to a high medium, almost a high heat.Cook it down, with the lid off, for 5 - 15 minutes, depending on how hot your burners are and how thick you want the sauce.Serve with a brown rice or glass noodles or cooked and chopped cauliflower that has been very well drained.The sauce is very flavorful and savory.
