1/4 c flour
2 T paprika
4 tsp salt
2 tsp sugar
2 tsp onion powder
2 tsp ground oregano
1 tsp cayenne (or to taste)
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 c canola oil


How Do I Make Helen's Spicy Shake and Bake?

Here is how you make Helen's Spicy Shake and Bake:

Mix crumbs, flour, paprika and salt. Stir in next 5 spices. Mix well then cut in oil until mixture is crumbly. I separate the mixture into 4 equal parts and put in baggies at this point. Each baggie coats 4 pieces of chicken. Keep fresh in the freezer.This coating makes great chicken fingers and nuggets as well as pork medallions from a tenderloin.
