How Do I Make Baked Acorn Squash?

Here is how you make Baked Acorn Squash:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut squash length-wise into two halves (or quartered if preferred). Scoop out seeds and discard. Rub EVOO into meat of squash (center and sides). Sprinkle salt, pepper and chili powder on each half. Sprinkle brown sugar into cavity or center of squash. Place squash in shallow baking pan, meat side up. Add about a quarter inch of water to the pan to keep from burning and to steam the squash. Place pan on middle rack of oven and bake for 45 minutes. Combination of oil and sugar will make a glaze in the bowl of the squash. Carefully remove from pan and move to serving dish or plate.
