Prep pans by heating dry on medium low heat. Then spray lightly with canola oil cooking spray. (Cast iron seems to work best but green pans aren't bad.) You are now ready to form patties and it helps to have wet hands. Form a patty and place it in the pan. When they are all in the pan, wash your hands and sprinkle the patties with the steak seasoning.Be very careful to rotate the pan(s) so they cook evenly and very gently flip after about 5-6 minutes. Check after 3-4 minutes. Keep flipping and rotating every minute or so until well browned and firm. Remove to large platter. They firm up as they cool. Can also try baking these in the oven probably 350 degrees F for 20 minutes before flipping and then checking every 5 minutes for doneness.Wrap individually in wax paper and freeze in sealed rigid container.
