3 x 400g tins beans (I use kidney, butter and chick peas)
1tbsp oil
450g onions
450g waxy potatoes
1/2 level tsp caraway seeds
4 level tbsp tomato puree
1 level tbsp smoked paprika
1 level tsp sugar
2 level tbsp plain flour
1 litre veg stock
300ml sour cream (or greek yoghurt)
2 tbsp chopped parsley


How Do I Make Bean Goulash?

Here is how you make Bean Goulash:

1. Fry the onion and potatoes in the oil for around 10 mins until golden brown2. Add the caraway seeds, tomato puree, paprika and sugar and fry for 1 - 2 mins3. Sprinkle in the flour and cook for 1 min then add the stock gradually and bring to the boil, stirring constantly4. Add the beans, cover and simmer for 1 - 1 1/2 hours5.
